We love the tradition of aging in barrels to commemorate our anniversary. The barrels are always present in the cidery, and from time to time we dip in a ‘thief’ to taste how it is maturing. It’s a slow process that is a welcome change of pace from the normal small-business hustle and bustle.

This year’s anniversary batch showcases our award-winning Imperial Apple. It’s slow-fermented with honey, giving this blend more body. We’ve aged it for 10 months in freshly emptied bourbon barrels, allowing the oak and subtle notes to harmonize with the fruit, creating a complex yet balanced flavor profile.

If you are a Solstice Farm CSA subscriber, we can deliver cans of cider with your weekly CSA delivery. Choose “Cidery Pickup” at checkout, then add a note to your order indicating you would like your cider delvierd with your CSA dropoff. Someone 21+ must be home in order to receive the cider delivery.
